One.
The Museum of Indian Culture is a research and educational center, located in the Little Lehigh Parkway in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
Memberships, gifts and donations support the Museum of Indian Culture. As a non- Profit Organization, the Museum needs your time, effort and energy to operate! We need YOU to join us by participating in our Educational Programs, the Museum, Library, and Annual Public Festivals. Volunteers can work independently or with others. In addition, youth groups, such as Scouts, can participate by helping to maintain the museum grounds, volunteer for our festivals by helping us set-up, clean-up, tear-down, and etc.
Two.
General Tour Guides are always needed. A tour guide serves four to twelve hours a week guiding visitors through the museum rooms and assisting general visitors in making the most of their visit.
Group Tour Guides are also needed.
Although the job is the same as above, volunteer can pick which age group they prefer to work with.
Festival Helpers are needed for the three annual events held during the first weekend in May, and third weekend in August and October.
Ground Keepers are needed to prune trees and bushes, cut the lawn, weed ad tend the gardens, and shovel snow too.
Office and Library Aides are always needed to file, type and help maintain inverntory and mailing lists, etc. To prepare for our events and services offered to the community such as festivals, workshops, memberships, newsletters, etc.
