Lectures for Adults & College Level Learners

 

Indigenous Speaker Program

 

Museum staff, members of Delaware Nation, and potentially also speakers from other Indigenous Nations can be available upon request for guest speaker events and university level lectures on a variety of topics, including but not limited to:

  • Lenape History and Cultures Today

  • Museum Studies & Public History

  • Local / Regional PA History & Treaties 

  • Basics of Public Policy and Native Americans

    • Federal Recognition, Sovereignty, Historic Preservation, NAGPRA, etc.

  • Native American Literature

Please send us an inquiry if there is another topic you would be interested in finding a speaker for, and we will see if we can accommodate your request.

We are currently offering speakers/lecturers for virtual platforms only, due to the ongoing pandemic.
